Happy Spring!
I am the new Director of Operations for the Poland Spring Preservation Society! You may recognize me as a familiar face to Poland Spring as I’ve worked for the Poland Spring Resort for 13 years, and involved with the Preservation Society since I was a young child! I am fascinated with the history of Poland Spring, and proud to share my knowledge of the history with anyone who will listen!
The 2021 season will kick off on Saturday May 22nd with an Open House at the Maine State Building and All Souls Chapel from 10-4. The Museum will be open with FREE admission, come learn a bit of Poland Spring History. Visit the gift shop with lots of NEW Maine made products from local Maine crafters, Poland Spring and Maine souvenirs, and lots more. While you’re here, learn how you can become involved through our many fundraisers, events and more! Special thanks to our many Members, Donors, Corporate Sponsors, as well as Grants from the Maine Steeples Grant, and the Davis Family Foundation we have put over $100,000 of critical work into the Chapel last year.
The Maine State Building and All Souls Chapel will open for the season on Thursday May 27th, and be open Thursday – Sunday from 9-4pm. I invite you to come for a tour of the buildings that mean so much to me, and our dedicated Board of Directors.
June 8th is our Annual Heritage Golf Scramble our largest fundraiser of the year! We are looking for sponsors as well as donations for our raffle! It is a great way to get your business name recognized! As a sponsor, your company’s name will be listed prominently in the program and will also be recognized at the award presentation. Your sponsorship includes a private tour of the Maine State Building for your employees and friends!
July 5th starts our Summer Concert Series held at the Gazebo at Poland Spring Resort! Weather permitting, we will hold 8 concerts on Monday nights. We are also looking for sponsors for our Summer Concerts. Our concerts have become a weekly family outing each summer and another great way to get your business name recognized!
